It was with deep sadness that on August 21, 2013 the world said goodbye to Sid Bernstein. I will forever cherish the years of his friendship, his irrepressible dreams, and his boundless love. Not long ago, I had the honor of producing an album of songs with Sid. These were a handful of songs that he particularly cherished from his past. After decades of making music happen, he confided to me that he wanted to try making music himself. I believe what we captured in those recordings is his love for all the people he's worked with and worked for all those years.
